Our Teachers

Jean Hunter (Chelmsford Group 1)

Jean is the original teacher of Dance 21 Seniors starting at the beginning 25 years ago.

Whilst running her own established dance school in London, she moved to Chelmsford and started teaching classes there simultaneously, where the classes first started.

She is qualified in Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Freestyle, Ballroom and Latin, and has been an Examiner with the U.K.A. Dance Society.

She is passionate about working with the team members having choreographed many, many performances for London shows, TV, Theatres and local Community events.

This has enabled the students to progress massively in both ability and confidence.

Hannah Randall (Chelmsford Group 2)

Hannah started dancing at the age of 4 in Chelmsford; doing Ballet, Tap and Modern Theatre and later starting Ballroom and Latin American. Hannah was a keen performer as a student, taking part in annual dance shows, Ballroom and Latin competitions, Performing Group tours and Christmas Pantomimes with her Ice Skating club! She enjoyed assisting her Dance Teachers with the younger children’s classes for many years, and in 2009 successfully auditioned at The Dance College, Royston to study for her DDEs in Imperial Ballet, Modern and Tap and has been enjoying teaching ever since.

Hannah has a particular passion for working with and teaching life skills to people and students with additional needs, in particular those on the Autism Spectrum. She teaches dance classes specifically for youngsters with special educational needs and disabilities and provided classes for City of Chelmsford Mencap on Zoom throughout the covid 19 pandemic and later in person, which she has found hugely rewarding.
She is keen to support a number of charities and has encouraged students to take part in the Tapathon for Children In Need for several years.
Hannah also loves incorporating her experience in many dance styles to create and choreograph ‘first dances’ for Weddings and has taught at hen do parties!
